workers' co-operative

"Established in 1988, Dynamix is a workers' co-operative that provides training and facilitation, packs and publications that help people to explore serious issues in a stimulating, challenging and fun way. We aim to promote social change and equality through its work, and this is reflected in our methods, which are participative, creative, inclusive and non-judgemental."

Members of Dynamix Ltd have been involved in designing and facilitating Co-operative Education activities in over 250 schools and colleges. Active in the field since 1985 we have a bank of materials and experience to be able to offer programmes designed to fit your needs. All of the ideas/activities are easily transferable so days act as a springboard for future development in the school or college, not just as a one off ‘fun day’. The methodology fits all curriculum areas across all key stages and fits themes and issues such as social inclusion, citizenship, participation and communication skills. We have found that if young people actively contribute to a process from the start they are more likely to make it succeed. This can promote positive behaviour, reducing truancy and exclusion.
Dynamix has worked in education on the following issues throughout the UK:

  • Playground games
  • self esteem
  • Anti bullying
  • Anti truancy
  • Co-operative Education
  • Preparation for work experience
  • Transition
  • Ice breakers and team building
  • School - Community partnerships
  • Creative Classrooms
  • Teaching and Learning styles
  • Promoting positive behaviour
  • Reducing exclusions
  • Schools councils
