Ingredients: Businesses that are run democratically and have as their main aim to contribute to their communities in terms of finance, health, cultural, social, environmental or educational. Setting-up and running a co-operative, social enterprise will allow school students to contribute to improving their communities whilst experiencing the world of business. A one year national pilot project with ten schools around the country
using enterprise experiences to set-up and run mini-social enterprises
or take over the management of infra-structures like school councils
or peer mentoring schemes as social enterprises. |
