Cathy Ward

Cathy Ward is a student at the School for Social Entrepreneurs, and aims to set-up a social enterprise that uses techniques like Appreciative Inquiry to empower school students and their communities.
 The School for Social Entrepreneurs

The School for Social Entrepreneurs exists to provide training and opportunities to enable people to use their creative and entreprenurial abilities more fully for social benefit. We also want to recruit more innovative and capable people into voluntary and other organisations.

The school was founded in 1997 by Michael Young (Lord Young of Dartington), a social innovator who'd previously launched the Consumer Association, the Open University and around 40 other organisations.

Following successful Millennium Awards programmes around the UK, the SSE is now expanding outside its base in Bethnal Green, London, and supporting the establishment of local schools across the country.
