Issue

In many of the action plans, staff write that they would like more information and opportunities to learn about different cultures/religions/faiths and lifestyles. This would provide staff/governors, children and parents with an opportunity to discuss and debate the myths and misinformation about the different religions/faiths/cultures/lifestyles of the diverse individuals and groups within Tower Hamlets.

Recommendations

Provide pupils and staff with opportunities to learn more about the diverse cultures, religions/faiths and lifestyles of people within their own school and within the local community. LEA to produce a booklet (there may already be one?) which includes all aspects of information on religions/faiths in a synopsis form, as well as questions and answers.
