Comment is often made about how pupils and some staff stay within their own ethnic group, (within and outside school) and this specifically relates to boys from years 5 & 6, and the Bangladeshi teacher assistants/support staff.

Raise the issues with pupils, staff and parents. Discuss different perceptions and look at ways of looking at similarities of needs/lifestyles, as well as differences.
