Achievements:

Focus group sessions were held with parents/carers, teaching staff, teacher assistants, pupils and governors. All groups covered exactly the same questions, to aim for uniformity while getting different perspectives of the same issue. The information thus gathered was used to formulate St Anne’s Anti Bullying Policy, which covers principles as well as structures for implementing it within the school and for monitoring its progress. The integration of current educational thinking along with the thoughts and feelings of the school community makes this a challenging yet accessible document.The policy was launched by the celebration of a special interactive Mass involving the pupils, teachers and parents. |
