To develop further strategies to continue the goal of embedding the principles of anti-racism in every aspect of school life. |

Achievements:

The external consultants met with wide ranging groups of students, and individual staff. They used questionnaires to elicit information about anti-racist policy and practice within the school. There was clear evidence of a very sound foundation of work in this area already in place. Nevertheless, gaps were revealed where further work could be done in certain areas of the curriculum, as well as ensuring that all students feel a sense of identity and belonging to the school community. It is recommended that staff receive training and awareness-raising in dealing with racism, to consolidate and strengthen the existing good practice. |
