Exploring citizenship through London's museums, libraries and archives

MLA London's Exploring Citizenship Teacher Placement Scheme offers funding of up to £1800 to schools for one or two teachers to visit a museum and/or archive for a total of five days, to explore and develop citizenship activities and resources. This funding opportunity can help your school to help pupils access learning in new and exciting ways, and enhance the citizenship curriculum outside and inside the classroom.

Inclusion activities

The 2005 Development Education Summer school, organised by DEEEP (Development Education European Project), focused on the theme inclusion from Northern and Southern perspectives. The conference was attended by a mixture of 120 disabled and able bodied delegates from 80 counties around the world.

During the week delegates worked towards producing tool kits of practical activities which can be used with groups of adults and young people to explore issues of inclusion and exclusion.
