Using the model of forum theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East's education outreach team in collaboration with The Citizenship Foundation and Tower Hamlet's LEA developed two one day workshops drawing together young people from a cross section of secondary schools in Tower Hamlets to explore citizenship through drama. Through a series of exercises the participants were introduced to the concepts of lobbying and campaigning, voicing your rights, the role of MPs, how to contact them and how to present your issue.
