A
one-day citizenship conference for gifted and able Year 5 and 6
children from eight Tower Hamlets primary schools held at the Tower
of London. The programme provides pupils with the opportunity to
discuss and debate ideas and make decisions on the question "What
is an Active Citizen?" Pupils work in groups to draw up their own
election manifestos and take part in a mock election.
